Day 6
Back to Maumere. We were
planning to spend the night at Coconut Garden Beach Resort Maumere but we ended
up spending another 2 nights at the cozy and homey Sea World.
We had an unpleasant
experience at Coconut Resort. The resort was gorgeous and very very very
instagrammable. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room was not working
properly (this is a VERY big deal when the weather is that HOT). And
apparently, u have to ask the resort staff to turn on the water if u want to
use the bathroom (this is also a VERY big deal). For the air conditioner problem, the staff didn’t seem to care and cannot give any
solution. We cannot move to another room because it was full booked
by the MTMA team.
When we decided
to move back to Sea World and we feel that we shouldn’t pay anything (because we've only been in our room less than one hour), we got into
a little bit of argument with the staffs. They were really not helpful at all
and still demand us to pay. It was very annoying. Well, we ended up calling the
owner and we refused to pay.
Based on this experience, I wouldn’t
recommend Coconut Resort. At least until they get their staffs organized.
I recommend staying at Sea World Club Beach Resort. Below are the pics of the wonderful Sea World Club Beach Resort:
