> I don't care

Friday evening. 18 January 2013. 10:30 pm

The weirdest thing just happened to me this evening
An old friend of mine (a guy), ‘’friend request’’ me on FB
I confirmed
Chat for a while on facebook and then he asked for my number, to move the chat from facebook to whatsapp

Chat for a while on whatsapp

And then, out of the blue, an unrecognized number popped on my whatsapp
Claiming to be the wife of the guy I’m chatting with
She goes on and on about who she is. That she is the wife, that they’re living in different house now because they have some problem, that they already have 2 kids, that she knows I'm chatting with her husband, bla bla bla

I let her go on and on until she said that she hope there’s nothing going on between me and her husband

Only then I responded: ‘’Wow, just out of the blue, accusing people of doing bad things.’’

And then she said that she’s sorry. She’s hoping I would understand her feelings (as a woman). And then she goes on and on again

And at a certain point, I said: “So sorry, but I don’t like to meddle with other people’s business.’’ And with that, I blocked her number from my whatsapp, and erased all her bla bla blas. And I unfriend her husband from facebook

I’m sorry girl, I just don’t care about you
I just don’t

By the way, if she's that paranoid and does this to every woman that chats with her husband, I'm not surprised if they have a problem...

Well anyway, who am I to judge..

Let's just mind our own business..

grateful

Monday evening. 14 January 2013. 9:38 pm

Things happen for a reason
That, I truly believe with all my heart

Sometimes I figure out why something happened, after years have passed
Sometimes I never figure out why something happened to me

So when u think something bad is happening to u. When u start to question ‘why oh why is this happening to me’. When u feel like u couldn’t take it any longer. When u think it’s the end of your dream..

Believe that God has already made another path for u, one that's better for u. One that will make u a better person.

So now I’m being grateful.

Grateful
Because I got to spend this last one and a half years through lots of changes
Being a bit nomadic. Moving from one situation into another. Moving from one place to another.
Getting to know different kinds of people
Having to adapt.. and adapt.. and adapt

Grateful
To be able to spend this last one and a half years,
Through an emotional roller coaster
Happy
Sad
Betrayed
Angry
Lazy
Motivated
Ashamed
Proud
And more

Grateful
Coz all of that made me a person I am today

And now I’m going through another change
Another small chapter in my life
And I’m welcoming the change with an open arms
And a positive atitude

Hope I can keep this positive attitude with me forever

Riung dan Bajawa : )

Trip to Riung, Flores

27 december 2012 - 1 january 2013

This is my second time setting foot on the island of Flores. And I fell in love with this place all over again : )
This time, the destination is Riung, at the north side of bajawa. This time, there are 8 of us. We flew from kupang to reach bajawa and continue by car to reach Riung.

disambut oleh pelangi di bandar udara el tari, kupang : )

bukit watujapi, riung, flores

We arrived at  Riung in the afternoon. After taking picture at the hill, we went to the pier, and waited for the sun to set and the moon to rise. Beautiful.

The next day, we went island hopping and snorkeling. There were 4 snorkeling spots.  Hot hot hot.

so cute : )

After staying 2 nights at pondok svd, we returned to bajawa. Unlike riung, bajawa is a town located on the highlands with its cool weather. I like this small town. We made 3 stops there: bena village, malanage hotspring and manu lalu panorama.

bena village

bena village

Our hotel in bajawa is called happy happy hotel. We love this place. Very clean and very homy. This place is run by a dutch couple.

We planned to stay in bajawa for one night only and spend the new year’s eve in kupang. But we couldnt make it to kupang the next day because our flight got cancelled due to bad weather. The plane already flew-in from kupang to bajawa, but cannot land at bajawa because of the weather. Got a little bit panicky for a second coz we have a plane to jakarta to catch.

Anyway, we ended up spending one more night a happy happy hotel (not that we’re complaining.. we love this place!). and there were many fireworks that night :D

akhirnya merpati itu datang jugaaa :D

I love flores! Definitely will come to flores again in the future.
I love arranging trips! Gives me a different kind of satisfaction.
I love Indonesia! Sooo beautiful.
I love traveling! Well isnt that obvious..   :D
