One day in ubud

There’s something about ubud that makes me do multiple visits and never gets bored with it.

I really really love the vibe in Ubud.

So this is what we did when we had one whole day to spend in ubud.

8am

Depart from sens hotel ubud to bali swing. We just had to try the bali swing. Just because it’s very popular on Instagram. Haha..

11.17am

Back in ubud and start the walking tour. First stop, pura taman saraswati. And then walk to ubud art market to buy some souvenirs. Don’t forget to buy the famous round rattan bag.

1.14pm

Lunch at Hujan Locale at Sri Wedari street. Hujan Locale (IDR400.000 for 2 persons) serves Indonesian cuisine. We tried the oxtail soup and the crispy duck.  After lunch, proceed to Museum Puri Lukisan.

2.52pm

Museum Puri Lukisan (IDR85.000/person). Enjoy the tranquility, the beautiful paintings and the beautiful surroundings.

4pm

Have your afternoon coffee (and snacks) at Lazy Cats Cafe.

5.28pm

Make your way to campuhan ridge walk. There are many people there in the afternoon, some are doing their afternoon jog, some are waiting for the sunset, some are just wondering what this famous place is all about :P

Afterwards, walk back to jalan goutama. We picked a random cafe and had dinner there. Waroeng Bernadette. It was a nice surprise. The food is great and the atmosphere is excellent. They serve Indonesian food. We spent IDR200.000 (for 2 persons).

8pm

Back to the hotel.
