Went for another walk in the morning, to
Pantai Kerewei. Took us approximately 45 minutes from Sumba Nautil. When we finally
reached the location, we went straight to a nearby warung (and homestay) to enjoy
indomie goreng and hot tea. Haha.. well, we cannot think and cannot enjoy the view
with an empty stomach.
After we’re ready, we walked down to the
beach. Pantai Kerewei has a grey-colored sand. But if you walk a little bit
further, on the other side of a nearby hill, you will
be greeted with a nice white-sand beach called Pantai Maragiro.
Next destination is air terjun lapopu. After
another breakfast, this time at the hotel, we went by car to this waterfall,
which is located inside Taman Nasional Manupeu Tanah Daru. I love this
waterfall with its blue water. So fresh!
There was nobody around when we got to the
location. I love it when nobody is around. I can take as many pictures as I
want, without being interrupted.
Later, we spent the afternoon wandering around the town
of waikabubak.
