this is my second time visiting baluran. the first time was in 2017: https://ritaaza.blogspot.com/2017/12/east-java-june-2017.html

back then, the road from the visitor center to savana bekol was very bad. it took one hour drive. but now the road is very smooth and it only took us 15 minutes from the visitor center to savana bekol. 

fyi, the ticket booth closes at 4pm. but once you're inside the national park area, u can stay past 4pm and enjoy the sunset.
