6pm. Time to see Lang Toi at Vietnam Tuong Theatre. It is vietnamese bamboo circus show/performance. It's amazing to watch the performers acrobatic movements using only bamboo canes. I love it!

This is a one hour show and u can buy the tickets online via https://www.luneproduction.com/my-village

after the show, we went for dinner at jackbo and end the night with a cup of coconut coffee at cong caphe.

after staying one night at ninh binh, today we're going back to hanoi.
we still have one more night and we'll be staying at Hanoi La Storia Hotel.

we arrived at Hanoi La Storia Hotel at 12.20 pm.
after checking in, we ate lunch at Cha Ca La Vong. we walked from the hotel.

there're mixed review about Cha Ca La Vong. some people speak highly of this place. some say it's overpriced and it doesn't taste that good.

I think the food is okay. The service is not good. The waiter basically served us without saying a word.
The price is fixed per person (VND 170.000/person) and some people say that you get the same amount of food whether you're a group of 10 persons or a group of just 2 persons.

After Cha Ca La Vong, we walked some more. we're going to "hanoi train street". we followed the directions from google maps.

They put some kind of barrier at the "entrance" of the hanoi train street and there was a man in a uniform (the man sitting at the picture below). Kinda make us hesitant at first, is it forbidden to enter or what? And then there was a guy wearing a blue jacket offering us to buy coffee at one of the cafes along the train track. So we just followed the guy and went in and had coffee at one of the cafes. I don't know how it really works, but I guess you can go in as long as you visit one of the cafes and buy coffee or beer.

the train schedule as of Jan 2020, from the signboard at one of the cafes:
mondays to fridays: 19.00 - 19.15; 19.45 - 20.00; 20.45 - 21.15; 21.30 - 22.00
saturdays and sundays: 8.30 - 9.30 - 11.30; 15.20 - 16.30; 17.30 - 18.00; 19.20 - 19.45; 20.45 - 21.15
