the owner of kidang mas is a passionate young couple: rudi and vina. after our visit to their store yesterday (see https://ritaaza.blogspot.com/2020/05/lasem-part-4.html), they invited us to visit their home to see the batik-making process.. they have 25 "ibu-ibu" working on batik everyday. amazing to see how they work on the batik.. the details of the batik pattern.. pure perfection.
and of course, we tried to make our own batik.. and as usual, my pattern is all over the place.. haha

We had a great time at kidang mas. I think this is one of the MUST DOs when you visit lasem! You won't regret it.
