Day 3
21 July 2015
Time to go to the other part of Sumba. Today
we’re going to stay at Sumba Nautil, Waikabubak, West Sumba. After checking out
from Newa Sumba, we first went to a nearby traditional market, to buy some
colorful scarf (Rp50.000 each). And on our way to Sumba Nautil, we stopped by
at Mata Air Waikelo Sawa.

In the afternoon, we walked downhill from Sumba Nautil to Pantai Marosi, approximately 30-minutes walk from Sumba Nautil.
You can walk to the beach and later ask the hotel to pick you up to get back to
the hotel.
Pantai Marosi is beautiful, especially to
watch the sun setting down. And what makes it more beautiful is the fact
that there’re no children begging for money. So we just sat there, on the white
sand, in silence, and smiling, while appreciating the nature’s beauty.
Wonderful : )
*well, of course this is after we finished our silly photo session
