Menurut gw sih pantainya biasa aja.. hmm, sbenernya pantainya seperti ga ada, karena dibuat pondok2 buat duduk2 n buat tmp parkir. Mending nyebrang aja ke pulau tangkil. Bagus sih pantai di pulau tangkil, tp pas gw ke sana rameeee banget.

Pantai Merak Belantung

Dari Bakauheni menuju Bandarlampung, belok kiri di km 45 Jalan Lintas Sumatera-Kalianda. Liat aja plangnya Krakatoa Nirwana Resort. Setelah belok kiri, sekitar 10 menit, pantainya ada di sebelah kiri. Waktu gw ke sana sih ga ada plang tulisan Pantai Merak Belantung, jadi harus nanya2 orang sana. Pantainya sepi banget, ga ada orang, ga ada yg jual makanan. Tp gw suka ama pantai ini : ) (sukanya memang ama yang sepi2, hehee..)

Pantai Pasir Putih

Sekitar 20 km dari Bandarlampung (arah ke Bakauheni). Ini juga udah rame banget pantainya. Kalo untuk poto-poto, bisa ke pantai pulau pasir yang ada di sebelahnya (harus keluar dulu dari area pantai pasir putih)

Famous for its dolphins.

3 to 4 hours bumpy ride from bandar lampung, kiluan is a bay located on the south side of lampung.

There, u can stay at a simple cottage on a small island managed by mr dirham 081369991340. U can have him arrange everything from a car to pick u up at bandarlampung, to life jacket for snorkeling and boat for the dolphin tour.

My itinerary for a weekend trip at kiluan:

Friday night from gambir jakarta by damri at 8pm. Took 11 to 12 hours to get to kiluan.

Saturday: trekking to a waterfall, trekking to the laguna on the island (20 minutes one way), snorkeling, playing at the beach.

Sunday: dolphin tour from 6-11am... then, go back to jakarta

Prices:

- car rental bandar lampung - kiluan - bandar lampung: 800.000

- meal Rp15.000/person/meal

- dolphin tour Rp250.000/3 person, including life jacket

- room Rp150.000/4 person

- life jacket Rp10.000/person

Some tips:

- Make sure u bring mosquito repellent and sunblock

- If u want to sleep outside the cottage, bring a sleeping bag

- Bring a flashlight

Pulau Kelagian

How to get there?

From the airport, go to Ketapang pier (about 1.5 jam)

And then continue with a small boat for about 20 minutes to kelagian island

Activity:

Dari Jakarta ke Denpasar.

Lanjut penerbangan ke Labuan Bajo (Pulau Flores). Ada beberapa airline: IAT, Trigana, Transnusa. Lama perjalanan 1 jam 20 menit.

Dari Labuan Bajo ke Pulau Rinca sekitar 2,5 jam naik kapal.

Di Pulau Rinca puanas buanget.. kalo ga mau belang, mending pake clana panjang, lengan panjang n sepatu : )

There’s also a public bus twice a day. The name of the bus is Gemini.

Boat and guide for island hopping and snorkeling (including lunch) from 8am to 5pm: Rp800.000 (for 8 people). I think this is a bit expensive. U can ask the local people to rent their boat (Rp260.000/boat) but I’m not sure they know the best snorkeling spots.

Life jacket Rp20.000/day. Snorkeling gear Rp50.000/day.

We went to riung on late december, and the weather was sunny at riung. But I cannot say the same about bajawa.

How to get there?

Flight from Kupang to Bajawa by Merpati or Transnusa.

Be careful ‘coz the flights are often canceled due to bad weather especially on Dec, Jan and Feb.

From the airport to the city: 40 minutes. Car to the city: Rp50.000/person.
