borobudur sunset

on dec 2008, I joined manohara's borobudur sunrise package >>> http://ritaaza.blogspot.com/2008/12/sunrise-borobudur.html

I loved it. Especially because I got to experience borobudur minus the hordes of people you usually see when you visit borobudur at noon. unfortunately, as many more people become attracted to see sunrise at borobudur over the years, the experience might no be as magical as before (too many people).

10 years later.. I found myself back in borobudur.... with less than 5 people in sight...
this time we went for the sunset. although it was cloudy, we can still feel the magic of the place.

Buy the ticket at Manohara (Gate 8 of Borobudur entrance)

There're 2 types of ticket for the sunset package:

1. Sunset + dinner package + souvenir (batik scarf): IDR350.000/pax. You will be allowed to explore borobudur until 6.20pm. I was there on December. the time may vary depending on the months and the season. 

2. Regular package: IDR200.000/per pax. You will be allowed to explore borobudur until 6pm (the time may vary depending on the months and the season.
