Our last day on this beautiful Sumba Island. Before going to the airport, we did some sightseeing: pantai purukambera and pondok cemara.

I love Sumba. 

Seems we have a complete journey this time around.

The traditional villages, the blue sky, the warm sun, the stunning white sand beaches, the picturesque landscapes, the friendly and ''not so friendly'' locals, the wild horses, the gorgeous lake and waterfall, the starry sky and last but not least, the exotic bathroom!

well.. what can I say... the beauty of the eastern part of Indonesia never ceases to amaze me   : )

diawali dengan rasa enggan yang luar biasa..

menyambut ekskul yang satu ini, di suatu hari di pertengahan november...

lalu dilanjut dengan...

curhatan di wa yang berkepanjangan,

sedikit wajah cemberut,

sedikit banyak raut menahan cemberut,

dan banyak muka tanpa ekspresi

untuk versi pertama,

I give all the credit to abang

dimana hanya dia yang selalu semangat

ketika si rita udah ga mau ngapa-ngapain :D

dimana hanya dia yang selalu semangat

ketika si rita udah pengen memilih untuk ga peduli

lalu kemudian..

ternyata terpilih jadi salah satu diantara 9 nominator

berkumpullah kami selama 2 hari

untuk menyempurnakan apa yang bisa disempurnakan..

(walau tak pernah ada yang sempurna)

dan tiba pagi ini..

si dike dan si ibu presentasi..

si abang menjawab pertanyaan dengan pedenya (as always)

si rita jadi asisten asrot :P

dan tiba malam ini...

hasilnya adalah: juara 2

diawali dengan rasa enggan yang luar biasa..

diakhiri dengan senyum.... hmm, senyum kecut?

ah enggalah.. aku masih bisa tersenyum manis..

selalu..

karna bagiku.. lebih berharga untuk merasakan team effort

dan lebih bermakna untuk mengenang prosesnya.. dan ketawa ketiwinya..

eh...

tapiiii..

apakah sebenarnya senyumku ini...

tak ada hubungannya dengan kejadian yang itu..

mungkin saat ini aku sedang tersenyum manis,

karena hari ini aku mendapati buku keduaku sudah bertengger di rak buku di gramedia

mungkin saat ini aku sedang tersenyum manis,

karena sedang sembari memandangi  bertambahnya jumlah ‘’like’’ di account FB ku..

:D

Emotionally drained... a heart can only take so much..

all those what-ifs

all those whys

all those prejudice

is eating me alive

making me sick

making me emotionally drained

but then..

i know that it’s good for me

i know i can make it. i always make it.

i know i’ll come out better.. stronger.. more versatile

i know..

but please let me go through this sad phase

coz it's very hard for me to be parted from a certain someone... whom I really care with all my heart.. unconditionally..

knowing it will never be the same.. ever..

well it’s time for me to move on

For change is inevitable

So wipe away the falling tears

Wrap up this chapter, put a smile on your face,

And start writing a new chapter of your life

U can do it!

Time to go to the ''off the beaten track'', Peter’s Paradise. It took us 5 hours and Rp900.000 (for car rental) to go from Sumba Nautil to Peter’s Magic Paradise, located in the middle of nowhere, in the area of  Tarimbang, East Sumba. 

At Peter's Paradise, we spent the whole afternoon admiring the tranquility, the landscape, and the bathroom. The bathroom? Yes, the exotic bathroom which doesn’t have any walls! Try it and feel the sensation of taking a bath without any walls protecting you :D

And then we spent the whole night chit chatting with the owner whilst looking up at the starry sky. The owner is Yosni, who has separated with Peter, hence the website has not been updated since.... and I think the place has not been updated also. Hope Yosni and Ditmar can manage the place, coz its truly a hidden gem. As for the room rate, I think it’s a bit overpriced. Can’t complain though, coz we’re paying for the stunning view and the sky packed with stars.
