At Alor, u can contact pak cris (cristian dami) 081332299336. He arranges diving trip. But he also does other trips like visiting traditional villages.
There’s a guide at Alor: Pak Ahmad (082144396503). I dont recommend him. He’s an untrustworthy person.
Interesting spots at Alor: Takpala Village, Monbang village, Kampung Kopi village, a beach at Dulolong, Ampera village, Sebanjar beach, Batu Putih, Maimol beach, Mali beach, Kepa Island
Distances:
1. From Kalabahi to Takpala village: + 30 minutes
2. From Kalabahi to Alor Kecil (Alor Kecil is a village’s name, not an island): + 30 minutes. From here, u can do a 10-minute crossing to Kepa Island
3. From Kalabahi to Batu Putih: + 45 minutes
4. From Alor Kecil to the airport: + 50 minutes

1. Rent a bemo (angkot): Rp300.000-Rp350.000/day
2. Car from Alor Kecil to airport: Rp150.000 for 2 person. For more than 2 person, add Rp50.000/person.
Most convenient way to go to Rote from Kupang:
By a fast boat Express Bahari from Pelabuhan Tenau (about 1.5 to 2 hours)
Price: economy Rp120.000/person.
Try to arrive at the harbour 30 to 45 minutes prior to departure coz it gets crowded especially on weekend.
And we cant really depend on the departure time stated on the ticket (could be 10 minutes earlier, could be late up to 45 minutes).

Itinerary rita
9 days: kupang-rote-kupang-alor-kupang-soe-kupang :)
Day 1: arrive at kupang, lunch at Nelayan Resto. go to oenesu waterfall (not a ‘must’ spot, it’s dirty), tablolong beach, kaki ayam beach n air cina beach. Sunset at air cina beach.
Day 2: from kupang to rote by fastboat express bahari 9.15am. straight to wisma anugerah at nemberala by bemo. Sunset at nemberala.
Day 3: island hopping from morning till afternoon: do’o island, ndao island, nuse island. Sunset at nemberala.
Day 4: from nemberala to pelabuhan ba’a via oeseli village: tungga oe, bo’a beach, fimo oeseli. Back to kupang by express bahari 11 am. Lunch at Tanjung Restaurant at Kupang. Sunset at Rotterdam. D
inner at Pantai Laut Resto.
Day 5: From Kupang to Alor by Merpati 06.20am. check in at Nusa Kenari Indah Hotel. Takpala village, lunch at Rumah Makan Kediri, Monbang village, Kampung Kopi village, a beach at Dulolong, Ampera village, sunset at Sebanjar beach. Dinner at Pantai Reklamasi.
Day 6: Batu Putih, Maimol beach, Mali beach. Spend the night at La petite Kepa
Day 7: snorkeling at Kepa Island. Back to Kupang, 3 pm flight from Alor. From Kupang drive to Soe. Stay at Bahagia II Hotel
Day 8: from Soe to Kolbano beach. Back to Soe and then to Niki Niki (Istana Amanuban). Stop by at Tetaf village.
Day 9: from Soe to Kupang: Noelmina bridge, Oebelo village, Lasiana beach. Back to Jakarta.
