Day 3

Time to do a 4-hour trekking and go into a bat cave.
And it starts with a morning river-crossing which makes us grasp the hand of the nearest person : )
Then off we go into the forest. A genuine sumatera rainforest, with its cool air and the ‘not so cute’ leeches. This small blood-sucking thing gives us a bloody welcome all over our feet (and tummy). Hahaa..

This is my second time entering a rainforest and being attacked by the leeches while enjoying the cool air. I always try to inhale as much air as i can and introduce my lung to a fresh and clean air : )
I looooveeee the air... i love forest... i love forest more than i love the beach...

Anyway, back to our trip.
After a 4-hour trek, we enter a bat cave, say hello to a group of bats hanging upside down with its glittery eyes, move our body through the ‘sometimes small and low’ cave and finally find ourselves at the end of the cave greeted by a brown river (it’s brown coz it rained last night).

Tubing time!
After lunch, we went tubing back to our guesthouse. They tied up 6 tires and created a floating raft. And we all sat there, there were 10 of us : )

Fun fun fun!

Special thanks to Fren, Dery, Charles and Anto for taking us into the forest
